Abstract

To inhabit the room is a process of research - creation that begins to be elaborated from the existential experience of being in the room. In this way, as a subject that daily inhabits this place in the house, I intend to elaborate a reflection on how I have constructed the experience of inhabiting, taking into account the formal, sensitive and symbolic relationships that I have established with this space, its corners and furniture objects. These relationships are defined by the experiences I have had throughout my life with this particular place, which have been conditioned by the restrictions, the exercises of power, the rules and possibilities existing from the first room; place where I spent my childhood and part of adolescence to the space I currently inhabit and from which this project originates.
