Abstract

In a world where the well-being of pets has become a priority for many owners, providing adequate nutrition and contributing to the health status of these pets requires constant attention and precise monitoring of their needs. However, this can be challenging for owners who have busy schedules or are away from home for extended periods, which has led to the development of technological solutions to address this issue. The problem addressed focuses on the need for a system capable of dispensing food and water for pets automatically, while helping to estimate their health status. The proposed solution consists of an automatic system controlled by a web server that meets all the required functionalities; The system incorporates modules that program the supply of food, the activation of a water pump, allows the visualization and control both locally and remotely. In addition, it is powered autonomously by a rechargeable battery, which guarantees its operation even in the absence of conventional electricity. The results obtained demonstrate the efficiency and functionality of the proposed system. A precision was achieved in the dispensing of food adjusted to the weight of the pet, which guarantees an adequate diet and avoids overweight or malnutrition; activation of the water pump based on the proximity of the pet. The local and remote viewing interface provides an intuitive and convenient control experience for owners.
