Las representaciones sociales de los problemas ambientales en la disposición de residuos sólidos (Relleno sanitario Doña Juana) en Bogotá D.C., en los diarios nacionales El Tiempo y El Espectador durante los años 2017 y 2018

Abstract

The mass media, apart from being disseminators of the information, also they are responsible for developing their personal Social Representations (from here on out SR) about specific topics that reveal thoroughly. Aforementioned representations can determine the actions of social groups, by making, conceptualization and revelation of specific information about their surroundings. From this perspective, one of the contributions which search for showing the following investigation about the field of the SR, is presented by the national current newspapers “El Tiempo” and “El Espectador” about environmental issues disposal (Doña Juana Landfill) at the Ciudad Bolivar District in Bogota, over the term July to December in 2017 and 2018 (all year long), identifying features and reflective regularities from newspapers, through the categories’ analysis that reveal the SR which are created or published through publications in relation to the target research topic.
