Evaluación de la gestión en el control y manejo de la residualidad en el turismo rural caso provincia del Tequendama, Cundinamarca

Abstract

The province of Tequendama has been characterized by being a region that favors tourist attractions given its bioclimatic conditions that evoke the massive movement of tourists; this has allowed strong tourist dynamics to be established especially in rural areas giving way to activities of the Rural Tourism. In this way it can be inferred that there has been an increase in the floating population which brings with it an increase in the production of solid waste and dumping which, in turn, demand a good response from the respective authorities so that they appropriately address the management of The Residually; This term being understood as the union of criteria in the integral management of solid waste, dumping and institutional capacity to respond, in this case, to the Sustainability of Rural Tourism. The present monograph aims to evaluate the situations presented in the environmental management of the Residually in the tourist activities of the region; Therefore, we proceeded to select indicators and criteria that describe, complement and / or relate these variables, these criteria were selected according to the guidelines of the Global Tourism Council and the Colombian Normativity in Solid Waste Management. Next, Databases were created that gathered the information of the 10 municipalities of the Province comprised in the period of 2000 to 2016 against 32 selected criteria; The Databases were analyzed from the SQL Server 2002 and in Excel 2010 to apply the methodology of Data Mining that from sequential and probabilistic algorithms gave way to the generation of models of grouping of data allowing to establish relations between the 32 variables And subsequent prediction analyzes, making this tool an innovative tool for environmental management and planning that allows the analysis of large volumes of information with reliable results.
