Resumen
The social and environmental implications that the changes in global temperature have brought have prompted both national and local governments to develop actions that tend to face the consequences that climate change has brought in different territories, these adaptation and mitigation are constantly being developed, applied and updated according to national and municipal needs, that is why Zipaquirá, giving continuity to its territorial plan for adaptation to climate change 2016, promotes in its municipal development plan 2020-2024 a low development in carbon, making it necessary to update the greenhouse gas (GHG) inventory for the years 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020 of the municipality. This was based on the GHG inventory developed for 2016 by Lavola Cosostenibilidad using the BASIC + methodology of the Global Greenhouse Gas Emissions Protocol (GPC) at the community level and leaving the GHG emissions calculation matrix, the above served as a key input for the preparation of the 2017-2020 inventory. With the results of this update, it was possible to determine the annual and temporary behavior of the municipality's GHG emissions together with the sector that had the most participation in them, the AFOLU sector being the one that emitted the most ton CO2eq in each of the 4 years evaluated; All of the above is reflected in the technical and evaluative report on the behavior of emissions for the years 2017 to 2020 in Zipaquira, which is part of the results of this internship and also includes the explanatory guide to the calculation matrix of emissions from GHG as a municipal tool for calculating the carbon footprint, finally, the methodological chart of good environmental practices for reducing GHG is left as an annex, according to what was diagnosed in the consolidation and analysis of the inventory.
