Abstract

There are areas of the country that, due to their historical, economic, political and social context, their development in infrastructure is still outdated, since the construction systems and materials used correspond to ancient methodologies whose origin dates back to the indigenous or colonial form of construction and Its technique has been transmitted from generation to generation, as is the construction of the tread wall. Due to the infrastructure problem that these areas of the country present, it is necessary to study the optimization of the construction system based on wall to solve the structural problems that arise with this methodology, based on the increase in the compressive strength of the units of brick in order to evaluate whether it is possible to carry out the construction of these structures on more than one floor.
