Resumen
This study analyzes and models the current condition of the Bonanza slope, located in the Ciudad Bolívar district of Bogotá D.C., using the MIDAS GTS NX software. The research was based on the collection and comparison of geotechnical and topographic information from previous technical reports (2004, 2007, and 2023) provided by district risk management entities. Through numerical modeling based on the finite element method, two main scenarios were simulated: heavy rainfall and seismic loading, to evaluate slope stability under critical conditions. The results showed safety factors close to the limit equilibrium (FS≈1.0) in the middle section of the slope, indicating high susceptibility to failure due to rising groundwater levels. Under seismic loading, stress concentrations appeared in the upper area, without evidence of generalized collapse. This work enhances the understanding of the current behavior of the Bonanza slope and validates previous findings, providing a technical basis for future stabilization and monitoring strategies in the area.
