Resumen
Research-creation practices in music developed at the Gabriel Esquinas Arts Documentation Center of the ASAB Arts Faculty (CDA) account for the research actions carried out within it in the Antonio Cuéllar Sound Archive and in the music collections of the written tradition Ernesto Sánchez Gómez, Colombian Studies for Piano and the Bogotá Symphonic Band, as well as in the miscellaneous collection of scores by Colombian composers. These interventions have been aimed at supporting progress in tasks of compilation, identification, cataloging, preservation, sound and image digitization, editing, analysis, and musical transcription, as well as the construction of documented reviews in order to promote the recognition and appropriation of the production of Colombian composers, arrangers, performers, educators, and companies, protagonists of our musical history. To this end, the participation of teachers and students from the Musical Arts Curricular Project (PCAM) has been crucial. This seeks to make a contribution to the knowledge and dissemination of the legacy of our musicians, contributing to the activation of collective sound memory and Colombian musical heritage.
