Diseño Metodológico para la Delimitación de Áreas de Interés Histórico: Campo de Batalla del Puente de Boyacá

Abstract

This proposal includes the multidisciplinary work of different experts summoned for the delimitation of a historical interest area (such as the "Battlefield of the Boyacá Bridge"), take their knowledge and contributions to analyze them under Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and give as a result a limit proposal for the park as objective as possible, also, a tool (model) of analysis and processing that can be replicated for other similar processes. This incorporates multipurpose analysis under different methods of qualitative and quantitative information and the obtaining of visual and geographical aids. Of course, a universally applicable model is not proposed, given the historical particularities of each event and the current state of progress of computer technologies, especially in relation to the tasks of the social sciences.
