This news would surely bring happiness to those who have gone before us and rest in peace, blessing our association and wishing its prosperity. What fills us with joy is not only the fact that it has reached 30 years, something notable in a country where few associations have lasted as long. What fills us with joy is seeing that the original spirit was maintained, that it has grown constantly and progressively despite the obstacles faced over the years. Over the past 12 years, he has been more involved in the workings of the society and has watched as they have been relentlessly refined and strengthened. We saw how the number of beneficiaries increased, how the resources they received grew and, above all, we witnessed the many good actions that were carried out. In the 12 years, more than $100,000 in resources were managed, demonstrating the positive impact it had on the community. The needs will continue to grow, and I hope that in the future, when someone announces that the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul turns 50, all the good we have done will be reflected. We currently have 226 active and non-active members, with new members recently joining our core society.
