The image contains a notice about the Decree on the Judicial Code, decreed by the Governor of the State of Cundinamarca in which it is established that from January 1, 1859 the Judicial Code Law, issued by the Constituent Assembly and sanctioned by the Executive Power, will be executed and put into complete observance in all the territory of the State, in which guidelines are stipulated related to the Judicial Power of the State, The Senate, Superior Court of Justice, Magistrates, Judges, Attributions of the Court, Attributions of the President, Secretaries and other subordinates of the Court, Circuit Courts, Parish Judges, Commissioned Judges, Public Ministry, Chamber of Deputies, State Attorney, Prosecutors, Municipal Trustees, Public Defender of the Poor, Judicial Expenses and finally the general provisions. In addition, the guidelines for each subject to be dealt with and the persons in charge of their compliance are mentioned. Finally, the decree was issued in Bogota on November 29, 1858, signed by the Governor of the State Jose Maria Malo and the Secretary of Government M. M. Medina.
