Realizar la auditoría de seguridad vial sobre el tramo de la avenida Ciudad de Cali entre calle 66 y calle 72a, cara identificar y evaluar los riesgos potenciales que puedan ser causantes de accidentes viales y plantear recomendaciones que disminuyan la probabilidad de accidentalidad en la zona.

Abstract

The present work of degree consisted in carrying out the road safety audit on the section of the avenue Ciudad de Cali between 66th Street and 72nd Street, to identify and evaluate the potential risks that may be causing road accidents and make recommendations that decrease the probability of accidents in the area. The section was selected due to the importance of the city of Cali Avenue in the mobility of the city. Due to its representativeness, the interaction between motorcycle flows and the flow of light and heavy vehicles in the area is an aspect that prioritizes the sector for a road safety assessment. The speed of operation on the corridor of the City of Cali Avenue in the study section is 25 km/h, a characteristic that guides towards the inspection of infractions to the maximum limits established by sectors and more considering the high flow of light vehicles. The study was developed with secondary information provided by district entities and by primary information collected during field visits.
