Puppet theater: opening of possible worlds for children from literature, in the I.E.D Manuela Beltrán, headquarters B, J.T is a text that emerges from the Seminar on Research and Training Practice I and II of the Line of Language, Creation and Communication of the Bachelor in Child Pedagogy, Distrital University Francisco José de Caldas; process carried out in the IED Manuela Beltrán, with grades 3C and 4D, in the year 2013 and 2014, respectively. After observing the skills and difficulties in which were the children in relation to the area of language, to know their tastes and interests in the field school, to visualize the need to implement striking elements for the group, a job is done with Literature for children that links the Theater of puppets in the middle of a teaching process - learning that takes into account the skills creative and expressive that strengthen the processes of reading, writing and orality. From the established, the research question arises: How literature for children through puppet theater as a resource didactic and artistic practice strengthens skills creative and expressive in the reading processes, writing and orality in children, grade third C and fourth D of the I.E.D Manuela Beltrán? Thereafter, the exercise is strengthened with four Categories that support the general theme, these are: Literature for children, puppet theater, reading - vii writing and orality, creation and expression, of which We found the categories of analysis: Student writing mediated by the literature for children and puppet theater. Student reading mediated by the literature for children and puppet theater. Oral expression of students mediated by the literature for children and puppet theater. Puppet theater as a mediator of creation and expression in the school classroom. The research has a cutting approach qualitative, which is established from the Research Action (AI), the systematization of experiences and the pedagogy by projects. The exercise is based on three key moments: Characterization of the population (Initial), Planning (Intermediate) and Execution together with the analysis of results (Final). In the process exercises of interest were implemented that allowed to visualize little text typologies explored in the school space, as is the text dramatic (script), from the most implemented text in the school classrooms: the narrative text. With Literature for children, a moment was established special called "Moment of the story", of which viii the puppet theater emerged, which gave way to interaction, in the middle of the construction of characters, of essays, of writings and shared readings, aspects that encouraged verbal expression, good listening and a better relationship between pairs. The monograph is an important input, because it opens the way to further research related to the subject, by visualizing novel and necessary processes in reading, writing and orality, which includes not only the narrative text, but also the dramatic text.
