Resumen
The implementation of The implementation of renewable energy projects through unconventional sources has set a new horizon for global energy production. Colombia has not been an exception taking into account social, environmental and physical determinants that enable the design and execution of projects in communities not linked to the provision of electric power in the national system. Mainly, the present study seeks to propose basic guidelines, through a technical and economic analysis for three non-conventional energy sources (solar energy, wind energy and energy generated through biomass) adapted to a community of 2,000 inhabitants of the municipality of Puerto Carreño (Vichada), whose municipal situation is categorized within the ZNI (Non-Interconnected Zones).
