Abstract

In the course of time the information of the networks built for the collection, transfer and treatment of rainwater and sanitary, has been hindered the process of dissemination of data, bringing as a consequence inconsistency when it comes to designing new networks. Faced with this problem, a geographic information system has been consolidated fed with updated information of different works executed, from which initial information has been collected from the designs and in the final stage of the project with the delivery of the record information of what wasexecuted. As the information of executed projects is not enough to provide information in the database therefore consultancies are carried out in sections of urban development in the short and longterm, these consultancies are based on taking geodesic information for the referencing of the topographic survey which is both planimetric as altimetric additional is carried out an inspection and taking of information of sewerage networks and boxes of networks both dry and wet all this taking into account the NS-030 standard which is the one that governs the collection of topographical information for the aqueduct and sewerage company of Bogotá. This in order to improve the information currently recorded in the geographic information system and that in future projects they have the information for the execution of projects either from this or from entities that intend to make interventions in the area of impact.
