| dc.description | The extractive model imposed on the southern countries at the hands of developed countries, it is opposed to the interests of local communities because they have autonomous development projects closely linked to their identity. In that sense, this work shows that the collective identity of the Marmateños focuses on small-scale mining; therefore, when the extractive reaches Marmato, the people resist in defense of collective identity that are violated . Consequently, this analysis argues that communities are largely responsible for resisting the extractive and building a just society through collective action. | en-US |
| dc.description | El modelo extractivista impuesto a los países del sur a manos de los países desarrollados, se contrapone a los intereses locales de las comunidades porque éstas tienen proyectos de desarrollo autónomos ligados estrechamente a su identidad. En tal sentido, este trabajo demuestra que la identidad colectiva de los marmateños se centra en la explotación minera a pequeña escala; por lo tanto, cuando el extractivismo llega a Marmato, el pueblo se resiste en defensa de la identidad colectiva que ven vulnerada. Consecuentemente, este análisis argumenta que las comunidades son las principales responsables de resistir al extractivismo y de construir una sociedad justa mediante la acción colectiva. | es-ES |
