Determinar el deterioro del pavimento flexible mediante metodología de auscultación VIZIR Y PCI con relación al CBR y la estructura de pavimento

Abstract

The present work of degree was carried out in order to identify the correlation of VIZIR visual inspection methodologies (French) applied by INVIAS and PCI (North American) which allow us through visual inspection to obtain the damage report in existing roads, and the degree of deterioration of these; with the CBR laboratory test (California Support Relationship) which evaluates the quality of the land for subbase and base. The results allowed us to establish the most appropriate methodology to identify the state of the pavement, and determine the relationship between the deterioration of the sections of roads with the results of the mechanical characteristics of the pavement structure, through the review of laboratory tests; CBR, Granulometry, Limit of Atterberg, these tests were performed on the structure of the track. After identifying these characteristics, I conducted a traffic study and a track design with the current conditions of deterioration was proposed, using AASHTO 93 methodology, for the calculation of the SN structural number contributed and the SN required with a design of the road for conditions optimal.
