The image contains news about the tram construction contract between Usme and Bogotá and the construction of public bathrooms in the Tunjuelo River. The creation of this contract was assigned to the Secretary of the Treasury Casas, Nicolás J. being the Government part, and Mr. Próspero Pereira Gamba, being the concessionaire part. This part of the concessionaire will have to build, manage and operate the tram for thirty years. The railway must be propelled by steam or a different system according to those used in Europe, monitor the streets and roads through which the tram circulates and inform the government about possible damage that may occur to the railway in its course. Establishes the value of the ticket, varying between classes, with first class being thirty cents and second class being twenty cents. Loads of one hundred and twenty-five kilograms will cost thirty cents; packages and luggage of twenty-five to sixty kilograms will cost fifteen cents.
