El Trapiche Cuántico. Crónica pseudonovelada de una búsqueda doxoepistémica desde la ciencia-ficción y la ilustración de género fantástico en Colombia.

Abstract

This project is an intimate and personal quest, an experiential chronicle and a sum of reflections and creative experiences around two topics that have always been pre-sent in the life of the author: science fiction literature -as a personal choice- and graphic illustration -as a part of his own professional practice-, in the context of fantasy narrative into the contemporary reality of Colombia. This is the author’s first research-and-creation exercise with which he intends to account for this process of intellectual and aesthetic search facing the situation of the relative scarcity in the production of science fiction literature in the country and, therefore, of the almost null presence of fantastic genre illustration related to this genre, as well as the pro-blem of the illustrator in an environment that greatly undervalues its work as a po-tential generator of knowledge.
