Abstract

About us? From this question a research framed from the self-referential and the social character is developed. The routine and everyday are the basis of the study, where there is a constant question about identity, this is how the concept of memory, is necessary to address a clear place of enunciation and the central theme that constitutes work, mask and appearance. The study is based on the social relations of an individual, their capacity for survival and adaptation to the environment that surrounds them, and their deep need for the mask as a means of concealment or of some higher pretension. Faced with the concept of mask and appearance, examples are taken from personal experiences, related to certain moments where the work of memory and the process of introspection are involved. The mask and the appearance take an idea from the concept: face, here are ideas more related to the show, the position between spectator and actor, the excessive advancement of the technologies and the senses of the mask. From the above, multiplicity is approached under concepts such as monstrosity and reflection, highlighting the idea of unfortunate events that cause self-knowledge and the construction of an identity.
