Propuesta de mejora aplicada para la planificación y programación de la producción de criba convencional y autolimpiana de la compañía Provetamiz S.A.S.

Abstract

The present degree project, assumed as an internship, consists of developing an improvement proposal for the company PROVETAMIZ S.A.S, in the area of ​​production of conventional screen mesh and self-cleaning steel SAE (AISI 1070). The main objective of the project is to provide the company with an improvement proposal, which takes into account some key points such as the forecast of production through the instruments called Exponential Smoothing and Winter without Variation, production planning and production programming using the Job-Shop method, plant distribution and storage of raw materials. This proposal will be supported based on the analysis made during the practice in the company, and what was learned during the undergraduate degree in Industrial Technology. However, during and at the end of the project it is intended to offer a guide to guide certain decisions of the company in terms of production and the factors that directly affect it, since an imbalance in the production of the meshes has been observed. They have about 130 different references and do not have a clear approach to know how to produce and production programs taking into account the management of the capabilities of the machines and the variation of the market in which they are found. In the same way, statistical strategies will be presented that demonstrate the viability of the proposal within the planning and programming of the production of the conventional screen and self-cleaning screen, storage of raw material and re-distribution in plant that is necessary for the company .
