Resumen
This work, whose objective is to link analysis and creation processes, seeks to describe three important components for the elaboration and subsequent interpretation of arrangements, which are, first, the deepening of contextual aspects that permeate River Plate tango in the golden age and avant-garde, in order to understand some musical processes and developments of the genre. Second, the analysis of characteristic musical elements of both periods, through the choice of two musical works that are considered important for the development of the writing and the arrangements, such as "Bahía Blanca" by Carlos Di Sarli and " Bailongo”, by Ramiro Gallo. The last component is the construction of the arrangements of “Malena” and “Tal vez no tener fin”, but not without taking into account the format and musical and interpretive process of the Makía tango sextet, a group for which these arrangements are made. In this way, it delves into the processes of interpretation, listening, research, understanding and musical creation that will result in two works arranged with elements worked on and developed in this work.
