Abstract

The primary function of logs is to provide information about process execution. At Net Applications, an automation company, the way this data is visualized has room for improvement. Currently, text files (.txt) are used to store information in a small memory space, which is an advantage in terms of storage. However, there is no application that meets the specific needs of developers, such as clearly visualizing the path a bot takes to complete its tasks, as well as efficiently identifying warnings and potential errors. This problem led us to develop an application that visualizes and manages files during the development of applications, programs, or software that incorporate RPA (Robotic Process Automation) technology. The application allows real-time monitoring of Task Bot execution. As part of their routine operation, these bots record a series of activities that are displayed in the interface without waiting for execution to complete. This facilitates understanding the bot's work, detects errors early, and avoids repeatedly closing files to view new activities, as other text and Excel files can also be opened and edited. This project allows developers at NetApplications to reduce development time by improving file manipulation, opening and editing files directly from the visualization interface, and by better managing the bot's activity logs, organizing information, and reporting warnings generated by the tool
