Abstract

This work will address a possible acting technique to make proposals in cinema, under motion capture or MOCAP in its acronym in English. With the question How can gestural theater be a useful tool for actors who work with the MOCAP technique? The pedagogy used by Jacques Lecoq sets out the fundamental bases for the actor to find what is necessary when expressing himself creatively with the body. With a work from imagination and gesture, the actor can interact in fantastic and abstract situations while controlling his passions and emotions. The MOCAP technique is a relatively new technique, which requires the skills of an actor capable of expressing fantastic situations and characters, recreating a whole body, worlds currently created for video games and cutting-edge cinema.
