Abstract

The image contains news about the provincial chamber of Bogotá, considering: 1st that the time of the chamber's actions is not even enough to draft the draft ordinances and regulations provided for in the law of May 18, this year on general police. 2nd that for the formation of such ordinances and regulations, not only theoretical knowledge is essential, but also practical knowledge about the different localities, which cannot be obtained in such a short period of time. 3rd that the chamber in all its deliberations must proceed with type and circumspection, much more so in a matter of such serious significance and importance. Resolves: 1º the police commission is in charge of drafting the draft ordinances and regulations on police, in accordance with the provisions of the law of May 18 of this year on general police, to present them to the chamber in its next sessions. 2nd the commission will take care to collect all the knowledge, data and reports that it deems appropriate for the best performance of its work, listening to the municipal councils, the political leaders, the foreign vicars, and the medical faculty.
