Resumen
In confined spaces, lethal accidents such as poisonings and explosions, which cause human deaths, animals and pollution of great environmental impact, are generated by the inadequate monitoring of atmospheres in confined spaces in coal mines, such as the use of birds in some cases, and the perception of the gases in the work area by the staff, causing irritations in the skin, nose and eyes that generate the gases. The effectiveness of these empirical methods is given as long as it produces the death of the bird, and in people generate bad odors, irritations on the skin, nose and eyes, which will alert the personnel who monitor indicating the presence of a noxious gas in the confined space In order to solve the poisoning and explosion accidents, a diffuse detection of poisoning control and the prevention of explosions in confined spaces are designed, generating precise information for the permanence of the mining personnel in the coal mines and to carry out rescue work, reducing the number of victims and avoiding lethal accidents. To perform the fuzzy control, the Matlab fuzzy logic tool is used in which the input variables are created and the input variable sets are classified, the fuzzy rules are created taking into account the NFPA regulations and finally the outputs of the system which indicates whether there is a risk of poisoning, risk of explosion, access to the confined space and the degree of health hazard.
