Propuesta de diseño de la red wan corporativa de Procafecol S.A, para la integración de los puntos de venta Juan Valdez Café

Abstract

Networks today must support a wide variety of applications and services while operating with different types of physical infrastructure. This project presents the planning, analysis, design and testing phases of the corporate network of Procafecol S.A, proposed by the Top Down methodology for the network design. In the WAN network, it is done the design and documentation of logical and physical topology carried out, as well as the necessary addressing to service equipment installed at points of sale and central office. In the same way, a solution is proposed for the provision of the WiFi service that allows to increase availability and security in the administrative offices distributed nationwide, supported in the elaboration of heat maps in order to locate the necessary access points in the best way. In the VoIP solution, the acquisition of hardware for call recording is proposed, as well as the installation of a device for the output of calls to cellular operators. The work done allows to achieve the objectives set by providing efficiency in the existing network with the best cost-benefit ratio. The resources available in the company are used while it is demonstrated the importance of carrying out the design using a methodology and making corresponding tests.
