Abstract

Corporación Autónoma Regional de Cundinamarca – CAR, charged by law with managing, within the area of its jurisdiction, the environment and renewable natural resources and promoting their sustainable development, in accordance with legal provisions, has made important efforts to protection of water resources, generating actions for conservation, the formulation of management plans, as well as the approach and implementation of guidelines for the formulation and adoption of Water Resource Management Plans – WRMP. This final internship report sets out the methodology and activities carried out in support of monitoring the execution of the Water Resources Management Plans (WRMP) adopted and in the process of adoption belonging to the jurisdiction of the Corporation, as well as , the results obtained in each of the phases are stated, highlighting the optimization of a monitoring tool for the hydrographic subzones (1) Ríos Palenque, Negro and Guaquimay (Carare Minero); (2) Río Garagoa and its main tributaries; (3) Embalse Tominé and Río Teusacá and (4) Río Blanco, Negro and Guayuriba, in parallel, activities pertaining to the traceability of information, organization of the Prepared Project Plans and support in the determination of water quality are broken down
