| dc.description | La instalación de un Ciclotrón en Colombia, para la producción de radioisótopos emisores de positrones, utilizados en la medicina, no solo amplía, si no que complementa la investigación y las técnicas analíticas que actualmente posee el país. En este breve informe, se presenta una visión general de las distintas aplicaciones y beneficios que pueden ser cubiertos con el ciclotrón, a partir de su utilización dirigida a la investigación básica y aplicada. Es indudable el valor agregado en el área del conocimiento, que se adquiere con la adquisición y puesta en marcha de un Ciclotrón. Las aplicaciones de un Ciclotrón, y su uso específico en el campo de la medicina, escapan a los objetivos de este informe. | es-ES |
| dc.description | Installation of a cyclotron in Colombia, in order to produce radioisotopes which yield positrons, can be used in medicine, research and analytical techniques which are actually being utilized in Colombia. This paper shows a general review of different methods and some beneficials which can be carried out with a cyclotron in basic and applied researcher. Once the cyclotron will be acquired and commisioned the knowledge related to different areas will be complemented and improved.
