Abstract

This degree project is focused on creating a comprehensive web application designed specifically for the management of school library loans, with the objective of improving the educational experience of students and promoting equitable access to learning resources. The proposed application will allow librarians to efficiently record loans, maintain an updated book inventory, and establish a transparent system for the distribution of donated books, prioritizing students with financial need. In addition, it contemplates the inclusion of functions that facilitate the search and location of books, thus improving the accessibility and usability of the library for students. The main objective of the project is to contribute to the improvement of the quality of education in public schools, promoting the personal and social development of students through technology and innovation in library management. It is expected that the implementation of this application will have a significant impact on the efficiency and effectiveness of loan management in school libraries, benefiting the entire educational community.
