Resumen
The FDLUSA (Usaquén Local Development Fund) carries out local plans aimed at mitigating risks, where the inhabitants of the eastern hills are affected by different phenomena such as mass removal in the polygons included in the site base. IDIGER intervention. Given the need to mitigate these conditions, studies and designs were carried out through the local mayor's office for some Risk Mitigation points due to mass removal, resulting in 2014 alternatives and recommended designs for these points to intervene, the above It was carried out by means of a public works tender. This work carries out a case study considering the stabilization of slopes with steep slopes and outcrops of fractured rock massifs in order to analytically evaluate the performance of conventional steel meshes and high-resistance meshes in mitigating the risk of rock falls, and its behavior with the materials of the Guadalupe formation in the eastern hills located north of the city of Bogotá. Stability analyzes were performed by the limit equilibrium method and coupled stability and deformation analyzes by the finite element technique in order to establish the performance of the energy control meshes. It was found the tensions that the meshes can withstand against the thrust produced by a slope with slopes greater than 45 degrees with the characteristic parameters of the Guadalupe formation.
