Resumen
This article is the product of research on the current situation of the Blockchain in Latin America, particularly in Colombia. All this under the main focus that is its use in the Smart Contract. The objective of the research is to carry out a review and contextualization of the use of the Blockchain and mainly of the Smart Contract, thus covering relevant aspects such as the type of models used and the current legislation on the subject

El presente artículo es producto de la investigación sobre la situación actual del Blockchain en América Latina, particularmente en Colombia. Todo esto bajo el enfoque principal que es su uso en el Smart Contract. El objetivo de la investigación es realizar una revisión y contextualización del uso del Blockchain y principalmente del Smart Contract, abarcando así aspectos relevantes como el tipo de modelos utilizados y la legislación actual frente al tema.
