Apoyo a la Gestión Ambiental en la Superintendencia de Sociedades

Abstract

The Superintendency of Companies has recently decided to implement an Environmental Management System (EMS) in order to strengthen internal processes and corporate environmental responsibility. This System is in charge of an environmental leader who coordinates its socialization and implementation both in Bogota and in regional offices. As part of the activities of the Environmental Management System, they have conducted audits processes in order to assess the EMS compliance to the objectives set out in the Environmental Policy of the Company. This has resulted in the identification of a number of opportunities for improvement which the organization wishes to respond and which has been supported by the District University Francisco Jose de Caldas. This document presents the work of its authors, students of the University District to support the upgrading and improvement of the Environmental Management System of the Superintendency of Companies, responding to the findings of the audits carried out in previous periods and the guidelines for Corporate Environmental Responsibility offered by the District Department of Environment.
