Resumen
This academic work seeks to make the proposal of a public security policy that allows reducing crime in the town of Los Mártires, Bogotá D.C. Based on the bibliographic review, the collection of data from various state pages and the descriptive and inferential interpretation of an own survey for the research problem, the set of causal relationships of criminal behavior is determined according to historical, economic, social and psychobiological aspects. Subsequently, making use of structural analysis and correlational statistical analysis, the quantitative and qualitative variables that account for the identified causes are listed and the classification is carried out, according to their influence and dependence, for the identification of strategic variables. As a result, the proposition of a set of strategies grouped by incidence factors on criminal behavior in the city is obtained and a statistical analysis model is presented that allows identifying the degree of expected impact on the crime rate and the limitations of said crime model.
