Abstract

This project was developed at the headquarters of the Faculty of Technology (Facultad Tecnológica), the University Francisco Jose de Caldas in the south of the district capital (Bogotá) in the town 19 Ciudad Bolivar, in order to identify the environmental effects caused by the university community to the environment, to This methodologies were used; identification of biotic and abiotic factors of the Faculty of Technology this information is organized under the name of environmental baseline, in which data are collected in the field and secondary sources for the expansion and verification thereof, in a second step is performed social cartography which allows to identify, define and describe the environmental perspective it has specifically University of Technology Faculty and identify positive and negative environmental effects which are statistically tabulated, this information is captured by maps, surveys and interviews, and implemented by students, teachers, administrators and staff toilet at the Faculty of Technology, in a third time this information is synthesized, organized and evaluated by the Environmental Effects Assessment which is made with a Leopold Matrix adapted to This project, in which the activities and / or actions in the Faculty of Technology vs qualify or impacts (natural, social, geological) environmental effects they have on the environment in order to identify the positive and negative effects in order to make a analysis thereof. Subsequently, a describing the environmental effects which in turn can raise performance improvement actions is made.
