Acuerdo adicional al del 14 de Julio de 1874: Sobre amortización de la deuda pública del Distrito

Abstract

The image contains news about the additional agreement to that of July 14, 1874 on amortization of the District's public debt. This agreement establishes several provisions aimed at the amortization process of the District's public debt. The Administrative Council is ordered to, once the agreement is sanctioned, proceed to change the stamp on the District's banknotes so that they are in line with the current regulations on banknote amortization. Furthermore, the same Council is authorized to change the banknotes in circulation for those of the new issue, as long as their holders request it, establishing the guidelines to carry out said change. To finance the execution of this agreement, the sum of one hundred pesos is allocated, which will be attributable to the Miscellaneous Expenses Department, according to the provisions of the current expenses budget.
