Petición elevada al Poder Ejecutivo Nacional por la Legislatura Provincial de Bogotá

Abstract

The image contains a news item about the petition submitted to the National Executive Power by the Provincial Legislature of Bogota, which specifies a request related to taxes on salt, alluding that this should not be a taxed product since it limits the opportunity for people to emerge and be able to take advantage of this element, adding also that the commercialization opportunities are scarce for the people due to the high price of freight, therefore it is mentioned that it is the duty of the delegates of the Nation to decide on this petition and therefore pay homage to the Legislature and its justice. It is also mentioned that all the inhabitants of the New Granada must enjoy the same rights and the charges imposed must be equitable in order to have a uniform society, it is also included the distorted vision that could be had about a society that does not maintain the proportion on its ordinances and therefore the words tend to surpass the facts, due to the fact that what is defined is not applied. Finally, it is mentioned that the Executive Branch, having the powers granted by the Law, is seen as the liaison for such request to be submitted to the corresponding entity and consequently resolved in an adequate manner.
