Abstract

In this document it is announced proposition of application of Lean manufacturing tool in Colombian Henkel`s production plant. It was necessary to create proposition which allows to reduce breakdowns inside plant came up from initial diagnostic, where it was identified that professional area is one of the most significative areas in Henkel, 31% of sales has to do with this business unit. It was identified many different kind of breakdowns related with process operability, or related with insufficient resources necessaries in order to apply a method changing. Each breakdown identified were connected with one Lean manufacturing tool which were planned by a chart which shows methodology to apply concepts and create actions plans to maintain it.
