Los referentes para la construcción del personaje

Abstract

Taking into account that the evolution of dramatic art in the country involves a strengthening in the training of its practitioners, it is necessary that they develop skills that allow them to assume new staging, building creations that are increasingly elaborate and consistent with the reality of the country. In this way, it is important to recognize the path taken by the formation of actors in Colombia, their principles, difficulties and achievements, also observing the main methodological influences that have contributed to it. Among the elements most commonly used in acting processes is the use of the Referents for the construction of a character, recognizing this as a vital part of the creative process, but at the same time it is sometimes difficult to understand, assimilate and develop. For this reason the present work gathers some opinions of teachers with experience in the subject, exposing the importance of the Referent as a source that allows the actor to extract symbols, which after experimenting with them, manages to re-sign them and put them in dialogue with the public.
