Resumen
This paper presents the preliminary design of the monitoring and control software on the ground of the Libertad-2 nanosatellite, a research and technological development project being carried out by the Sergio Arboleda University, as a way to strengthen the research line in engineering Aerospace that has been working since the launch of the Libertad-1 picosatello in 2007, the first Colombian satellite. Libertad-2 is a larger project with more research opportunities in different areas of engineering. The ground monitoring and monitoring software of the nanosatellite is a fundamental element for the mission and has to be developed to the measure, representing a clear opportunity to use the concepts of software engineering to realize its design and implementation complementation. Since the development of technology for aerospace systems is an issue that is not being addressed in Colombia, the design of software parts within this context is very innovative.
