Resumen
This collaborative effort dates back to the 2011-2012 period, when both educational institutions developed the ALTER-NATIVA project entitled "Curricular References with Technology Incorporation for Faculties of Education in the Areas of Language, Mathematics, and Sciences, to Serve Populations in Diverse Contexts," funded by the European Union under the ALFA III program (second call for proposals in 2010; contract number: DCI-ALA/19.09.01/10/21526/245-575/ALFA III). This contract was fulfilled under the auspices of the UDFJC and the UPN-A as a partner institution. This collaborative effort dates back to the 2011-2012 period, when both educational institutions developed the ALTER-NATIVA project entitled "Curricular References with Technology Incorporation for Faculties of Education in the Areas of Language, Mathematics, and Sciences, to Serve Populations in Diverse Contexts," funded by the European Union as part of the ALFA III program (second call for proposals in 2010; contract number: DCI-ALA/19.09.01/10/21526/245-575/ALFA III). This contract was executed under the auspices of the UDFJC (University of Valencia) and the UPN-A (University of Alicante) as a partner institution. This project included various actions, with the participation of Latin American and European universities and organizations, aimed at developing curricular references for Latin American universities, in order to guide the training of basic education teachers in the areas of knowledge: language and communication, natural sciences and mathematics – trained in these institutions –, based on the technological incorporation of what were initially called Virtual Learning Objects (VLOs) and the adoption of a philosophy permeated by attention to and for diversity – ethnic, social, economic and cognitive-physical-functional.
