Resumen
In the present project, an architectural survey was carried out at the LatitUD, astronomical observatory of the District University, Customs Office of Paiba, by implementing new technologies in the topography sector, such as the use of terrestrial laser scanner and an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) to this is added the positioning and materialization of the geodetic plate (GPS-PAIBA 2), from which the entire architectural complex was georeferenced through topographic activities, which allowed the realization of a closed traverse and geometric leveling. The information gathering process with the laser scanner allowed the lifting of the facade and the interior of the District University's astronomical observatory; Thus generating a three dimensional point cloud with an excellent detail level, which was the basis to generate a digital model of this structure, through the use of different softwares for point cloud editing and modeling. The digital model obtained shows the main structural and physical characteristics of the astronomical observatory, very valuable information when it comes to preserving the historical and architectural identity of this place. This project is within the framework of the seedbed in Archaeoastronomy of the Francisco José de Caldas District University, which aims to lift and geo-reference the main astronomical observatories, new and old in the country.
