Abstract

This research is located in the problematization how subjects perceive their life in society, making visible the meaning and significance that these will give their actions, demonstrating an emerging knowledge that gives value and meaning to certain practices. The above is established under an analytical perspective of the city, with the aim of understanding the social and cultural fabric that occur in social groups that are part of the city, glimpsing as individual and collective actions are part of an imaginary give it new meanings, new images and meanings to the city. This is observed while the emergence of new dimensions of reality and new ways of building knowledge from the integration of ancient knowledge, which requires analysis and understanding of the social fabric within the context of other knowledge. In this scenario, it is precisely that research takes relevancy when it proposes the analysis of the configuration of reality and social phenomena linked to processes of indigenous cultural revival in the city; specifically, the emergence of an imaginary on the urban context in relation to a cultural and symbolic assumptions.
