Abstract

This work partiall y reconstructs the guitar makers in Bogota travel in the 20th century, a subject little documenteds y stematically, throught hemethodology and participatory technique. They conducted interviews semi-structured thirteen makers whohelped create information, contributing with his knowledge of the past, notify ingabout possible locations, and contributions from other builders, and providing important sources in their collections of instruments. Documentary gaps with respect to some processes and events that took place between the years 1900-2001, guided the research to wards secondary sources and certain aspects not coveredinitially, as for example the of the strings.
