Resumen
This study seeks to evaluate the viability of a business idea focused on the manufacturing and marketing of a cutlery design in terms of the Colombian environment and context and more specifically the city of Bogotá during the years 2023-2024, the availability of a potential market, the definition of product and design of the production process. In it, methodologies for collecting information and analyzing the most important variables for the development of a manufacturing company are applied, in which the product input conditions are identified, the design parameters are defined according to the information collected, and relationships are identified. important between the different stakeholders of the project and a production process is designed in which the identified limitations of the environment and market demands are taken into account. Establishing the foundations for a value proposition from product design and a differentiator that stands out among the identified competitors. Giving the necessary requirements so that the production process meets these bases in a consistent and detailed manner. Establishing the parameters that allow evaluation through an economic study that demonstrates whether the business idea is profitable in terms of monetary investment and a final decision.
