Resumen
The next project stems from environmental decline of Colombia in recent years, to journeys made by the Bogotá Savannah and the main reason, live in Chia, municipality which currently has one of the most accelerated and uncontrolled urban processes, a process linked to the idea of progress. This village as well as the plain, suffers growing pressure of urbanization, causing, in terms of the natural environment, the disappearance of water sources, the alarming loss of biodiversity and native ecosystems in this sector of the Andean region. Despite the drastic transformation of the landscape and the population, the remnants of vegetation that exist in this place saved items associated with the original plant communities, which are studied in detail from the art perspective more not-Botany, encompassing structural, functional and cultural aspects that serve as elements for the plastic composition. The sculptural processes, the ceramic, reconstructing their history through physical and symbolic self-portrait: the cultivation of native plants thanks to all a peasant heritage, are elements that appear throughout this creative - investigative process, enabling work in series, the continuous multiplication of the figures based on the aesthetics of the East that compose this modular installation open, ever-changing, can be adapted to the specific circumstances of different spaces and time; where nature and sculpture manage to merge being the main protagonists, introducing new reflections on the creation, sow as an art practice, but, the most important art as a tool that promotes knowledge, understanding, care and conservation of the Andean forest.
