Abstract

This image contains news about the Council of Trent and various apostolic bulls entrust us with the teaching of Christian doctrine and the preaching of the gospel in parishes. This mandate led us to work on the restoration of the vice-parish church of San Carlos. Thanks to the mercy of God and the generous cooperation of the community, this church is now operational for worship. We thank God for this benefit and continue to ask for His mercy so that this work continues to grow, with the aim of glorifying God and benefiting souls. Today we have issued provisions to organize the parish ministry in the vice-parish. We order that on days of obligation, at 10 in the morning, the doctrine be taught and the parish talk be given, followed by the foundation mass at 11. We urge all the faithful to attend these functions punctually and, especially, parents to send their children to be instructed in the rudiments of the faith and the obligations of Christianity. To facilitate this goal, we have established a fellowship of Christian doctrine in the church. Members of this fellowship will help teach the doctrine on the holidays and ensure that children and poor people, who do not have access to teachers or time during the week, attend.
