Technological advancements have drastically affected our way of communicating, buying, working and playing, among other "common" everyday activities. It is expected that the implementation of new technologies will affect most, if not "all", organizations in the world; processes that have been carried out daily for years are now being replaced by modern, cutting-edge mechanisms and technologies that not only optimize the old and obsolete processes over time, but also save costs and in turn optimize time (everything becomes faster). Starting from a problematic related to the improvement of processes identified in a technology sector company in Colombia, and based on the growing trend of companies worldwide to use digital transformation or fourth industrial revolution technology in the best way, a concept coined in 2016 by Klaus Schwab, founder of the World Economic Forum, in a work of the same name. Initially, from the perspective of software architecture, it is intended to provide the necessary basis to conceive a contribution that can be taken into account to solve a concrete case related to improvements in the way of making documentary agreements in that company. Software architecture provides a framework that seeks to comply with minimum high-level guidelines that serve as a guide in the design and construction of a computer system. It is through this global perspective that each of the key components taken into account in the initial stage of problem analysis are related, starting from the organizational perspective to the final functional product, and at the same time addressing aspects of reuse, evolution, among others. This research project will address the essential aspects to conceive a model of documentary agreements architecture for its procedure layer and application layer from a business intelligence (BI) perspective that initially help to solve the incidents presented in the case to study in the organization and later provide the opportunity to offer assistance to its customers to diversify or improve their products.
