Seguimiento al desarrollo del debate del conflicto ambiental asociado a cultivos ilícitos en Colombia, en los diarios El Tiempo y El Espectador, en el primer año del posacuerdo (2017)

Abstract

From the decade of the seventies there appeared, in Colombia, cultivation of marijuana and coca with illicit ends, the above mentioned increased from the decade of the ochentas and they have grown up to the actuality, to the detriment of protected and forest areas, determining as a result the enlargement of the agricultural border. In the above mentioned areas they have there grew in parallel different groups armed like the guerrillas of the FARC-EP, which dispute the above mentioned regions. In the middle of the peace process with these guerrillas, in the year 2016 there appeared declarations regarding the increase of the illicit cultivation, which in the year 2017 turned into a debate that he was leading to relate or to push its tie back, with the negotiation process. In this context, there appears this work faced to recognize the evolution of the debate of the environmental conflict associated with the illicit cultivation in which it would be the first year of posacuerdo with the Farc, in the newspapers Time and Spectator, of which they were selected and reviewed 48 articles of the first one and 31 of the second one. The development of the work determined that really the cultivation had increased and that it departs from the exposed arguments they were referring to other environmental conflicts like the increase of the agricultural border, occupation of Natural National parks and pressures for the use of the herbicide glifosato.
