Manual for a functional life

Abstract

"...if instead of functioning, a robot lived, what would it dedicate its life to..., what would it choose if it had such capability, to live or to function... and humans, would we be less obsolete if we had a function in life..., is function a part of life, or is life part of a function?, this is what makes the robot and the human mutually dependent... is it entropy that determines the prevalence of one over the other?" What drives a human being to ask the questions they ask? Is there a logical reason or simply a metaphysical one for infinite human inquiry? Is there even a reason? It would be a recurring or even redundant act to question matters like this, as we might be asking about the same thing we are questioning, probably falling into an endless vicious circle, transforming an issue seemingly so full of transcendence into something basically ephemeral; that is, it may have a transformative excess or it can become something so basic and simple that does not require discussion or analysis. We could easily have immersed ourselves in a paradox.
